Was the Bat that flew around Tropicana Field a good luck charm for the Rays tonight? Will they make the Bat->?
The new Official Mascot? Congrats to the Rays & their Fans. Hopefully the Yanks will get back on track tomorrow.

i say yes Scooter. a broken bat or a batter letting go of a bat is exciting, as long as no one gets hurt. i love to see the players dive to get out of the way of the bat. (Yankee #11 in the 7th inning lost/the bat flew out of his hands, it looked like into the ray's dugout.) that is the kind of bat i meant. however, i saw the bat you were talking about flying, and really i hope that is not the new mascot. it looked like a very large bat to me. it was horrible. sorry i got it wrong. and yes congrats to the rays. and go big yanks.

The Heckler
I noticed he only came out when the Rays were on the field & they were yelling "Hey bat errrrr, bat errrrr, batter"

Hahahah. I was surprised that it actually was a bat, because Michael Kay was joking about it when he thought it was a bird. Lol. Overall I wasn't too disappointed with how we did today, we were up against some good pitchers. I just wish we were able to hold onto the lead. I hope tomorrow we can get a win.
