Alamodome Directions:

100 Montana Street, San Antonio, TX 78203: To get to the Alamodome from IH-35 North, take the New Braunfels Street exit and head south on New Braunfels to Commerce Street. Head west on Commerce Street to Cherry Street, and turn south on Cherry Street into parking lots. From IH-35 South, take US-90 East to the New Braunfels Street exit and go north on New Braunfels to Commerce Street. Head west on Commerce Street to Cherry Street and head south into parking lots. From IH-10 East, take the Hackberry Street exit and go north to Durango Boulevard. Head west on Durango Boulevard and go north on Cherry Street, turning into parking lots. From IH-37 South, exit Durango Boulevard and head east to Cherry Street, going north on Cherry Street into parking lots. From US 281 North, exit Durango Street and follow above directions.

Alamodome Parking:

Parking lots for the Alamodome are marked with letters. Lot A is accessible from I-37, while Lots B and C are both accessible from Cherry Street. Lot A is strictly for those with parking passes and handicap permits. Lots B and C both open two hours before events, and no tailgating or overnight RV parking is allowed. For big events, plan on arriving to the venue at least one hour in advance of the event, as parking is often limited at the facility. There are 14,000 available spaces within a mile of the Alamodome, and these typically cost $3.00 or more.

San Antonio’s famed Alamodome opened its doors in 1993 and is a 65,000-seat multi-purpose venue that is mainly used as a football and basketball stadium and convention center for various events. The $186 million Alamodome was home to the San Antonio Spurs NBA team until the resurrection of the AT&T Center, and the venue is still host to the annual Alamo Bowl as well as hockey events and other sports and entertainment acts.
